I want to welcome you to the Department of Radiology Ayub Teaching Hospital Abbottabad. As you know the healthcare environment is changing rapidly and imaging is at the center of many of these changes. Radiology is a dynamic and technologically advancing field. Radiologists interact with all clinical disciplines in the realm of diagnostic imaging, problem solving, occasionally intervention and management.

At Radiology Department Ayub Teaching Hospital Abbottabad, our faculty and staff are committed to excellence in providing outstanding patient-centered care, teaching residents and fellows, mentoring future leaders.

We have made several changes to ensure the best possible imaging care for all of our patients. We have made quality and safety a priority in our department and have instituted several changes to guarantee that our patients receive the best and safest imaging care.

Radiation safety is paramount and to this end we have state of the art 80 slice CT scanner that have the ability to deliver excellent image quality with the least amount of radiation. Apart from CT scan the Radiology Department ATH provides the facilities of conventional X-rays, IVU, mammogram and color Doppler ultrasound. The radiology department ATH is also equipped with the state of the art 1.5T MRI, to cater the needs of the patients of this institute and the referring physicians. We understand it is necessary for imagers to be more visible and accessible to both our patients and referring physician colleagues.
